It is the first of its kind founded as a non-governmental organization with the objective of serving as a medium between international and local companies. Our Association comprises nearly 70 domestic companies, both public and private in different sectors of the Myanmar economy, which have projects in many parts of the country. The main function of the MIDA is to render necessary assistance to potential investors in terms of legal and regulatory framework of Myanmar in order to facilitate their decision–making process on their investments in Myanmar. The focus of the Forum is to bring together leading Government Officials and Representatives of local and international businesses to explore and discuss possible investment opportunities in Myanmar.
